It is said that Pandora’s Box unleashed unknown chaos and horror unto the world – but also untold beauty and hope. For an hour each month, experience the opening of Pandora’s Box, a menagerie of improv, comedy, and theater. Explore its many wonders: the macabre, the bizarre, and the strikingly beautiful.
Born from Annoyance’s 22nd Trigger Happy Lab Cast, and recently crowned the winner of iO’s Fall 2024 Cage Match competition, Pandora’s Box (formerly 22 Improv) fuses onstage choreography and spontaneous discovery as they blend the real with the surreal, the absurd with the emotional, and the common-place with the theatrical. Our unconventional style appears first as strictly ordered and then as swirling chaos, until we reveal the eye of the storm to create unexpected, beautiful moments that have been called “unhinged” and “breathtaking.”
