One Liner Madness is a Time Out Critics' Pick live comedy show that travels the country finding the best joke writer in every major comedy hub.
On Saturday, Nov 22, 64 Chicago comics will go head-to-head in a fast-paced, bracket-style, single-elimination, one-liner joke contest where a winner is crowned in just 100 minutes. Audience applause determines which performers advance and who ultimately takes the trophy, cash prize, and Chicago bragging rights for a year.
One Liner Madness has been profiled on/in WGN, The New York Times, Axios, The Boston Globe, LAist, WHYY and more. The show is hosted by comedian and game show writer Emily Winter, Chicago-native Larry Mancini, and 2024 Chicago Champion Dan Docimo.
