Politics may have prompted Chicago’s nickname, but wind and water are at the heart of its identity. Dame Jane Glover leads a program impishly inspired by our hometown, including a suite from Handel’s grand Water Music. Our wind and horn principals move center stage in Hummel’s Bassoon Concerto and Mozart’s fourth Horn Concerto.
