Morning Star

Spanning from 1910 – 1931, Morning Star focuses on the life of a widow, Becky Felderman, and her extended family living on the Lower East Side of New York City. Becky, who along with her four children left Russia in search of the American dream, realize their hopes and struggles during several historic events such as the early 20th century sweatshops, World War I and the beginning of the Great Depression. The production also features four students from the Children’s Theatre of Western Springs.
