Love Talker, The

The Defiant Theatre Company unleashes their newest Defiant Demon, THE LOVE TALKER. This production was a favorite from the Actors Theatre of Louisville’s Humana Festival. The story follows two orphaned sisters – Bun and her young sister Gowdie – struggling to survive on their own in their crumbling family home, which is completely isolated in the dark, mysterious woods. When the Love Talker, a strange, lustful spirit preys on the sisters as he did to their mother, the girls are pitted against a stronger predatory sexual force – their own. Bun attempts in vain to save her sister from herself and soon she is forced to reckon with her own demons.
