Remarcable Productions’ second Chicagoland show is a Chekhovian-styled comedy/drama that focuses on two straight couples spending The 4th of July weekend together at a summer house in the gay community of Fire Island in 1991. Through monologues unheard by the others, the audience quickly learns that this relaxing vacation is anything but when tensions come to a boil. Come see the fireworks as these four individuals confront each other on issues of isolation, loss, marital affairs, homosexuality, pregnancy, disease, and their own mortality.
