About the Show

Chicago Opera Theater presents Le nozze di Figaro, featuring music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and libretto by Lorenzo da Ponte, based on Le mariage de Figaro by Pierre-Augustin Caron de Beaumarchais.

The show is the union of a clever, satirical play about the foibles of lovers and the presumptions of class, with the witty music of Mozart at his romantic best, perfectly blended by the da Ponte libretto.
