In Pursuit

Echo Modern Dance Collective is a Chicago based non-profit dance community dedicated to
collaborative expression. Our mission is to cultivate a community of interdisciplinary movers
blending both professional dancers and dancers pursuing non-dance careers to continue
moving, creating, and performing. We offer opportunities to choreograph and perform, where
every member of the community is invited to contribute and co-create.
In Pursuit is the culminating performance of our seventh season together. 

This show explores
themes of ambition, achievement, and the tension between professional success and personal
fulfillment. Our dancers have been working hard all season long to create 18 interdisciplinary
works that we will be showcasing both on stage and on film. 

Runtime: 90 minutes (including 15 minute intermission)

We offer three ticket pricing tiers in an effort to keep our art accessible to everyone. All ticket
purchases are for open seating in the theater.
