Holidays in Uptown

Don your gay apparel! We’re decking the halls with style in Chicago’s historic Uptown neighborhood. Lakeside Pride’s Symphonic Band and the shhh…OUT! Jazz Ensemble join forces for this concert that’s chockablock with Christmas cheer. We’ll warm your heart with holiday hits – old and new – and tickle your tonsils with a Christmas Karaoke Sing-Along. We provide the soundtrack and hand out the lyrics – you bring it with some hard-hitting vocals! And because no holiday concert would be complete without fairies – of the sugar-plum variety, of course – we’ll be putting The Nutcracker through its paces.

Oops, we almost forgot – yes, we’ve booked Santa to give things a sense of occasion, and you can sit on his lap!

This concert is an official Toys for Tots donation location. We’ll exchange all new, unwrapped toy donations at this event for a sweet holiday treat.
