Game of Shards

Four strangers meet in an unemployment office, as each contemplates the extreme circumstances of their lives. The linchpin to their interaction is Alex, an eccentric and intrusive office employee who seems to know a little too much about each of their personal circumstances. As each of them revisits that office, circumstances keep them together for one night as they are forced to reveal and confront the deeper truths of their lives among the strangers who seem to know them the best.

Breadline Theatre Group continues its tradition of world premiere theatre with a new collaborative project. Game of Shards, by Abu Ansari, Heather Carpenter, A.F. Mulvaney, Lisa Stevens, & Wayne Temple, was developed by five actors and playwrights, with the guidance of a director, through workshops, improvisation, and development.
