Sophocles' Elektra is a play about the profound human drive for vengeance and the corrosive effect that violence has on the community and the family. This rarely-produced version of the play speaks powerfully of a world unable to free itself from cycles of retribution and revenge.
Elektra features Associate Artists Elizabeth Hope Nahulak as Elektra, Avery-Slade Fountain as Elektra's brother, Orestes, and also features Molly Surowitz, Olivia Rog, Mike Rogalski, Robert Tobin, CC Meade, and Jennifer M. Hawk.
Elektra will be performed November 13-30, 2025 at Madison Street Theater, 1010 Madison Street, Oak Park, IL 60302.
