Rosanne Cash with special guest Jerry Douglas

In August, Sun Valley Center for the Arts welcomes singer/songwriter Rosanne Cash to River Run. A distinguished performer with 25 years of hit recordings under her belt, Cash is known both for her strong vocals and insightful lyrics. She’s getting what may be the best reviews of her life for her latest album, Black Cadillac, which was written during a two-year period during which she lost her father, Johnny Cash, mother, Vivian Liberto Cash Distin, and stepmother June Carter Cash. Also on the bill is dobro virtuoso Jerry Douglas, winner of 12 Grammy awards and the country’s foremost master of this six-stringed instrument.
