Historian and Professor Nicole Hemmer will be in conversation with Professor Adam Hilton about her book PARTISANS: THE CONSERVATIVE REVOLUTIONARIES WHO REMADE AMERICAN POLITICS IN THE 1990S, which shows us how the Republican Party moved from being centered around Reaganism to a new emphasis on anti-globalism, appeals to white resentment, and skepticism about democracy itself.
