About This Show

Hartford Stage presents the Long Wharf Theatre’s production of Eugene O’Neill’s final masterpiece. Josie Hogan lives with her scheming father on their pig farm in rural Connecticut. Her rough appearance, salty tongue and tarnished reputation make her an unlikely candidate to find love. She and her wily father set their sights on swindling their landlord, despite her attraction to him. Over the course of one night, Josie’s plans go awry as she lets down her guard and opens herself up to the possibility of love. Gordon Edelstein directs.
