EVENT DETAILS:
- Date: Saturday, September 20th 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Departure: Shuttle service will depart from downtown Hagerman and transport guests to Teater’s Knoll in Bliss.
- Tour Duration: The private home tour will last approximately two hours in total.
- Return: Shuttle service will return guests to Hagerman after the tour.
- Important Restrictions: No children or pets allowed at the event, and note that photography inside is not permitted.
ABOUT THE TOUR:
- Unique Location: Visit the only Frank Lloyd Wright-designed structure in Idaho, nestled in the Hagerman Valley above the Snake River, in the small town of Bliss.
- Architectural Significance: The home was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for Idaho artist Archie B. Teater. It’s thought to be the only artist studio Wright designed, aside from his own.
TOUR EXPERIENCE:
- Private Home Tour: Experience a self-guided tour through this historic and architecturally significant home, with experienced docents available to answer questions.
- Food and Drinks: Enjoy complimentary food and drinks during both tours as you explore the beauty of this private, Wright-designed home.
SPECIAL INTRODUCTION:
- Introduction by Henry Whiting II: The owner of the Frank Lloyd Wright studio will provide a special introduction and share insights into the history of the house and its artist-owner.
TICKET INFORMATION:
- Cost: $125 per person (credit card processing fees apply).
- Member Benefit: Members get first access to purchase home tour tickets.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- No Physical Tickets: Tickets will not be issued. Instead, your name(s) will be on a list at the event check-in.
- Important Restrictions: No kids, animals, and photography inside of the house are allowed.
- Meeting Location: The tour will start and end in downtown Hagerman, not in Bliss. Guests will be shuttled by bus from Hagerman to the home in Bliss.
- Parking: There is no parking at the event. All guests must use the shuttle service.
- Accessibility: Please note that the home includes steps and is not fully accessible.
- Event Capacity: Capacity is limited, so be sure to secure your spot early. Additional details will be shared via email with ticket holders as the event date approaches.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:
- No animals or children are allowed at the event.
- Photography is allowed during the tour. However, absolutely NO photos to be taken inside of the house.
- For the protection of Teater’s Knoll home food, drinks (including water bottles), backpacks, camera bags, and tripods are not permitted inside of the house.
- Home tour tickets are non-refundable, but can be transferred to family or friends.
