About the Show
A circle of tight-knit girlfriends gathers to plan weddings, trade dirty jokes, and try to hang onto a sense of normalcy as protests are breaking out all around them. Centered on a suburb of Iran from 1978 to 1991, each of the friends must choose whether to join a wave of emigration or to remain where the future is uncertain.
