‘Tis the Seasons

‘Tis the Seasons is Neighborhood Playhouse’s unique holiday offering, celebrating the stories that explore the joys of Chanukah, Chinese New Year, Kwanzaa, Tet, and Christmas. The script includes such singular stories as Dreidel, an original Chanukah tale; Anansi and his Children, an adaptation from classic African folklore; Beatrix Potter’s delightful The Tailor of Gloucester; and The Nian, a traditional tale about the origins of the Chinese New Year tradition. There is much more, including a lively vocal ensemble performing a range of international and well-known holiday songs, as well as audience participation.
