Paint!

Robin Seidman’s Paint! colorfully tells the comedic tale of young Russian artist, Marc Chagall, whose Hasidic roots forbid him to become a painter. As Mama puts it ‘Jewish boys simply don’t become painters!’ This fanciful story of Marc’s journey to seek approval from his family before going to art school, artfully and playfully comes to life. Along the way, he is accompanied by best friend and hilarious companion; ‘Cow’ who only speaks to Marc. Adventurous flight plans, catchy songs, comedic characters and a multicolored stage design, all combine to take the audience back to their childhood if they’re not already there.
