One of Neil Simon’s best plays focuses on Herb Tucker, a writer’s blocked Hollywood scriptwriter who abandoned his New York family 16 years earlier. He and girlfriend, Steffy, are surprised when his forgotten past reappears in the form of Libby, his bold, adventurous teenage daughter who’s hitch-hiked all the way from Brooklyn with dreams of movie stardom.
