About the Show

Drama Queens is a new play festival featuring works by three of Atlanta’s premiere women playwrights, directed by three of Atlanta’s finest women directors. The Festival includes plays by award-winning local favorites: Marki Shalloe, Pamela Turner and Letitia Sweitzer.

Voices Deux by Pamela Turner

This play focuses on Karen and her muse, Joan of Arc, who seems to show up at the least convenient times.

The Last Good Deed by Letitia Sweitzer
This play focuses on Amelia, who moves between the past and the present and wrestles between forgiveness and revenge.

Stieglitz by Marki Shalloe
This one-man play, companion piece to Shalloe’s award winning 1-woman play O’Keefe Paintings from Faraway Nearby, focuses on the life of Alfred Stieglitz, the husband and photographer of Georgia O’Keefe.
