Cabaret

Cabaret in set pre-World War II Berlin and based on the diaries of Christopher Isherwood. The musical tells the story of Cliff Bradshaw, a writer, and his acquaintance with cabaret performer Sally Bowles, whom he meets in the decadent Kit Kat Klub. At the same time, a Jewish couple, Fraulein Schneider and Herr Schultz, must come to terms with the uncertainty of their future together. The increasingly sinister story is emphasized throughout by the eccentric Emcee.
