The Center For Puppetry Arts is proud to be part of the National Black Arts Festival and present Underground Railroad, Not A Subway, by scholar Dr. Schroeder Cherry. Travel with Kyle, a nervous but energetic boy of 10, as he flees a Southern plantation and heads to New York via the Underground Railroad. Just when safety seems near, his freedom is threatened by the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850 and Kyle is on the run again.
