Patrick Cuccaro’s play An Imperfect Order offers a closer look into the world of sufferers of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
An Imperfect Order tells the story of Allan and his obsessive-compulsive father Bill, who have a strained relationship at best. When they have to learn to live together, it takes Agnes, a crusty New York transplant with a raging libido, and Brian, Allan’s stable and confident soul mate, for them to find the courage to heal the past and develop the intimacy for which they’ve been longing. This dark yet tender romantic comedy shows us that, despite our faults, with love there is always hope. Clint Thornton directs.
