About This Show

The Lion in Winter, a classic written in 1966 about royalty in 1183, brings England’s King Henry II and his family to raucous life. Henry, his estranged wife Eleanor, and their three grown sons — Richard, Geoffrey, and John — gather at their winter palace for gifts, games, and as much bloodletting as the Christmas holiday will allow.
