About the Show

REACH Dance Company breaks away from its modern jazz and contemporary repertoire to dedicate this nostalgic new work to the voices of Judy, Marilyn and Bing, and the feet of Cyd, Gene, Fred, and Ginger. Artistic Director Maria Konrad, along with choreographers Jerry Opdenaker and Danielle Armstrong, bring exciting new life to the most treasured works of these legends with “The Golden Age of Hollywood,” a two hour show featuring dance, song, and theatricality that will bring audiences back to a time of crooners and hoofers. REACH Dance Company invites you to take a walk down memory lane with musical selections from Easter Parade (1948), On the Town (1949), An American in Paris (1951), Singin’ in the Rain (1952) and The Band Wagon (1953) to name a few.
