The Honky Tonk Angels

As the story opens, we meet Darlene, Sue Ellen and Angela, who are unhappy with their lives. Each woman heads off to Nashville to seek her fame and fortune. Their lives converge when they meet on a bus and share their hopes and fears, while reaching out for friendship. During the ride, they sing and find that they harmonize well – and decide to perform together instead of going it alone. The threesome concocts their hilarious and quirky act to perform in a Nashville bar; Honky Tonk Heaven. All three grow from the experience and the friendships, each learning more about what she wants from her life.
