Showtune: The Best of Herman’s Hits

Jerry Herman is one of the legends of American musical theatre. Among his many accomplishments are some of the grandest American musicals of the twentieth century, including Hello, Dolly; Mame; and La Cage aux Folles. All three of these shows put Herman on the musical theatre map by running for more than 1500 performances – an achievement that has yet to be duplicated.

Showtune, conceived by Paul Gilger, features the best of Jerry Herman. Among the tunes featured in the revue are some of Herman’s best known, including the favorites “Before the Parade Passes By,” “We Need a Little Christmas,” “I Am What I Am,” and “Hello, Dolly.”
