Praying with the Enemy

About the Show

Praying with the Enemy is a tongue-in-cheek look at what really happened when the Pope recently visited the island of Cuba. There is an array of very funny characters including a Martha Stewart wannabe, who travels to Havana to shed new insights on the behind the scenes preparation of the visit. Also wishing to get involved in the festivities are a pampered wife and an obedient husband, whose mission is to bolster the Pope’s peaceful message and get the country’s Catholic community to unite. Presented by the Coconut Grove Playhouse this is the world premiere of Cuban playwright Luis Santeiro’s new play.
