Mama’s Sweet Potato Pie

Mama’s Sweet Potato Pie chronicles the ups and downs of a tight-knit African-American community, held together by the love of matriarch Beulah Mae Jenkins and the gooey, delicious pies she serves at her diner. The hysteria and mayhem starts when a superstar’s tour bus breaks down in front of Beulah’s place — after one bite of that lip-smacking pie, he never wants to leave. What begins as a random, unexpected twist of fate turns into a time when truths revealed transforms his life forever. He soon finds out, along with everyone else that Beulah Mae’s life stories always lends itself to laughter laced with lessons that books cannot teach.
