Created by Nikkole Slater and Danai Gurira, In the Continuum is a kaleidoscopic portrait of two black women – a middle-class wife and mother in Zimbabwe and a 19-year-old in the Los Angeles inner city. Although from disparate cultures and vastly different economic and social environments, they are trying to move ahead in a world in which everything is changed and yet nothing has changed.
