Knight Life: The Girl Who Would Be King

The Riverside Theatre presents the world premiere of the uproarious new musical, Knight Life: The Girl Who Would Be King. Romp through the Middle Ages with this new musical that plays like an old-fashioned Medieval tale. Elderly King Frederick wishes to pass his kingdom on to his spirited young daughter, Princess Katherine, but in order to rule as Queen, she must pick a suitable husband. From the knights of the court to the plotting young prince to the peasants who yearn to be knights, this damsel is more interested in swinging a sword than languishing in distress. But this comic land is packed with an evil Step-Queen, a devious nephew, a borscht belt jester, winsome wenches, and bumbling knights in shining armor. Can Katherine find true love and become Queen before the young prince’s wicked plan comes to fruition?
