A Little Moonlight…Jacqueline Jones Celebrates Billie Holiday

In A Little Moonlight… well-known Orlando jazz and blues singer, Jacqueline Jones, focuses her tremendous talents in a tribute to the extraordinary 1940s-50s influential jazz vocalist, Billie Holiday. Intertwined with songs such as God Bless the Child, T’ain’t Nobody’s Business if I Do and Good Morning Heartache, are reminiscences about Ms. Holiday’s tumultuous life and career. The 90-minute script that weaves the songs together was created by Ellen Jones, who also directs the piece. On alternate performances, jazz pianists Michael Kramer and Mark Simmons will provide musical accompaniment.
