Smile, Smile Again

Ochre House Theater presents the world premiere of Smile, Smile Again, an engrossing parable about the fullness of life. In the aftermath of World War One, a soldier is stuck in the mud, unable to escape the pitfalls of trench warfare. A madman who finds the soldier believes he has discovered a mythical soldier-plant, growing from the ground and requiring the care of a gardener. The ensuing poetic struggle features entrancing language, original music, and a bizarre, surreal landscape.
