Originally written by E.T.A. Hoffman, The Nutcracker presents the coming-of-age story of a young girl named Marie who receives a magical nutcracker that takes her on a wild adventure. The production features an energetic battle scene, rife with marching toy soldiers and menacing mice, plus gems for ballet enthusiasts including the rare Snow Pas de Deux and the Grand Sugar Plum Pas de Deux.
