Hapless British Bobbies Blunt and Gobbel have one last duty to fulfill before they can finish their Christmas Eve shift: inform the sweet old couple at No. 58 of some terrible news. But Blunt and Gobbel didn’t join the force to ruin people’s lives. Once inside the house, their total ineptitude and humane inability to tell the truth leads to an endless — and absolutely hilarious — series of misunderstandings. The Lying Kind is a modern-day farce by one of Britain’smost provocative playwrights, Anthony Neilson.

Thurs. 11/30 – Senior citizens are invited to a free dress rehearsal at 8pm.

Thurs. 12/07 – Pay-What-You-Want night (where guests name the price for their ticket) at 8pm.

Sun. 12/10 and Sun. 12/17 – Matinee performances at 2pm.
