Four friends, or strangers, or enemies, spend a day (or perhaps everyday?) on a seemingly typical New York City street. Stranded between a laundromat, an old movie theater, and an off-track betting location, Dex hatches a sure-fire scheme to make money on horses, while Fisk tries to do the “job he was hired to do.” Dell, a.k.a. the Laundry Lady, hauls enormous piles of dirty clothes into the laundromat, and Ina loses everything. Absurd, yet strangely normal, lonely, and together, lost and found, the four come together in ways they never thought possible in The Ten Thousand Things by Melissa James Gibson.
Performances are June 18-21 and June 24-28.
