When Hansel and Gretel stumble upon the witch?s enchanted gingerbread house, they cannot resist taking a bite and they are captured. Only their ingenuity and bravery can save them from the witch?s evil plan. Based on a Brothers Grimm fairy tale, the enduring 19th-century opera Hansel and Gretel is performed in child-friendly fashion by UConn Opera.
