Dealing in grief, incest, intrigue, and madness, Hamlet has been called Shakespeare’s masterpiece. In this particular adaptation, a few major changes have been made. Several roles traditionally played by male actors have been re-envisioned as female, an extra character that interacts directly with the audience has been added, and there is some doubling.
