MLK Sunday 2026
Live @ Jack's presents Colorado's Own
DOTSERO Band: Jazz, Funk, & Soul

Colorado’s own DOTSERO brings high-energy contemporary jazz, funk, soul, and an unstoppable groove.

Founded in 1984 by brothers Stephen and David Watts and named after a small mountain town in the Rockies, DOTSERO has become a powerhouse of contemporary jazz, blending smooth grooves, funk, and an electrifying stage presence. Led by frontman and sax man Steve Watts, this Denver favorite has rocked festivals from Red Rocks to Catalina Island with original hits and vibrant live shows, backed by their signature sound and 16 albums of original music.

Once a hidden gem in Denver’s music scene, Jazz@Jack’s (later known as Live@Jack’s) was more than a venue; it was a heartbeat. From its cozy Platte Street beginnings to its iconic home atop the Denver Pavilions under Sandra Holman Watts, Jack’s was a place where music lovers gathered, friendships formed, and Colorado’s live music legacy took center stage. Its spirit lives on wherever Colorado musicians play.
