In Blood Knot, playwright Athol Fugard captures the caring but volatile relationship between two brothers who share the same mother, but different fathers, one black and one white. Under Apartheid, Morris chooses to pass as a white man, while watching his brother Zachariah, suffer all of the cruelty, oppression and injustices of that system. This play examines the dynamics of racial conflicts, issues of power, privilege and control which lead to an explosive confrontation between the two brothers played by Damion Hoover and Cajardo Lindsey.
There is no show on Saturday, April 17.
