In the wake of 9/11, terror level color codes, and the misinformation super highway, Ameriville reminds us of our vulnerability to believe or dismiss everything we hear as we are led by fear into the internal wars of today and those to come. Inspired by Orson Welles’ "War of the Worlds" radio broadcast, and maneuvering past today’s air of censorship, patriotism and the marriage of church and state, Universes exposes a disrobed Lady Liberty as she lays at the arms of mass media and technology, no longer sure of her own beliefs.
