In honor of International Women’s Month and The Clocktower Cabaret’s 20th Anniversary, we present a rare, limited-engagement solo performance by Kate Valentine.

A Woman of a Certain Rage is a bold and funny 70-minute solo performance exploring aging, power, and identity in a female body. Blending sharp humor with movement, music, video, and theatrical character work, Valentine delivers a piece that is as entertaining as it is urgent.

She may look familiar… Valentine has performed over 1,000 burlesque shows as her iconic emcee persona, the ridiculously deadpan Austrian character, Miss Astrid, and was last at The Clocktower Cabaret in 2016.

This performance marks her first full-length solo show, capturing a generation hitting midlife with clarity, ferocity, and no interest in being quiet.

A Woman of a Certain Rage is presented one night only as part of our anniversary season.
