The Nutcracker, presented by Paula Aubry School of Dance

A tradition for over 25 years, The Nutcracker is performed biennially by Paula Aubry School of Dance. Clara is gifted a beautiful Nutcracker doll by her godfather, Drosselmeier at the annual Christmas Eve party. Later that night after she falls asleep with her Nutcracker, Clara's dream begins with the help of Drosselmeier's mysterious magic. She is awakened by mice trying to kidnap her and take her back to the Mouse King's kingdom. Her Nutcracker arrives with his soldiers to battle the Mouse King and save Clara. After the battle is won, the Nutcracker reveals himself as a handsome prince. He whisks her away through the Enchanted Forest of snowflakes to the Land of Sweets. They are greeted by the sweets from all around the world and welcomed in by the Sugar Plum Fairy.
