About This Show

An Evening with Edward Albee is presented as part of the Goodman’s Edward Albee Festival, featuring a series of productions and special events honoring the three-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright. Edward Albee’s 40-year career inludes the award-winning plays Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, A Delicate Balance, Seascape, Three Tall Women, and The Goat or, Who is Sylvia?. He was awarded the Gold Medal in Drama from the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters in 1980 and received both the Kennedy Center Honor and the National Medal of Arts in 1996.
