Influenced by the likes of Arlo Guthrie, Utah Phillips, and John Prine, actor Jeff Daniels has quietly added a solo acoustic evening to his performance repertoire. Over the past twenty-five years, Jeff has taken his experience as a stage actor and created a one-man musical showcasing his story telling, a sharp sense of humor, and an acoustic guitar full of his own original songs.
Since 2000, Jeff Daniels has toured the country, playing such venues as The Birchmere, Club Passim, Café Lena, New York City’s 54 Below and Birdland, the City Wineries in New York, Chicago and Nashville, The Barns at Wolf Trap, Austin’s Cactus Café, Ram’s Head Tavern in Annapolis, Houston’s Mucky Duck’s, the Dakota Room in Minneapolis, Ann Arbor’s The Ark, Chicago’s Old School of Folk Music, Seattle’s The Triple Door, and all the way to Alaska’s Latitude 62 in Talkeetna , as well as numerous opera houses and PACs throughout the country.
Jeff has shared the stage with Lyle Lovett, John Hiatt, Joe Ely, Cheryl Wheeler, Guy Clark, Christine Lavin, Keb’ Mo’, and Bruce Hornsby.
In April 2024, his live performance of his original song, WHEN MY FINGERS FIND YOUR STRINGS on the Kelly Clarkson Show went viral, followed months later by Kelly performing the song herself.
Jeff was invited to play at David Bromberg’s 70th Birthday Bash at NYC’s Town Hall and in 2012, the Martin Guitar Company unveiled the OM Jeff Daniels Custom Artist Edition Guitar and asked him to narrate Martin’s award-winning documentary, “The Ballad of The Dreadnought.” A professional performer, Jeff Daniels brings decades of road-tested musicianship, humor, and masterful storytelling to audiences everywhere he goes.
