The Stopover

This off-beat tale of three fish-out-of-water guys is brought to life by Kristian Bruun, Luke Davies and Alastair Forbes in alliesallover’s sophomore production, The Stopover. Jesse and Billy came to Toronto to sell some weed and make some extra cash. The deal goes fine, but they end up with more than they bargained for with an unconscious cop named Karl in the back of their truck. Where he came from and why he’s there is a mystery…especially to Karl. The story is equal parts Jean-Paul Sartre and Bob and Doug Mackenzie, but the performance is all allies. Set entirely within the Art Bar, The Stopover offers an exciting and innovative experience in found-space theater.

There are matinees on April 3 and 9 at 2pm.
