The Scrubbing Project

A dynamic trio of veteran theater artists has created an ensemble production that probes the contradictions and absurdities of being three urban, mixed-blood Native woman at the turn of the 21st century. Seeded in 1999, The Scrubbing Project juxtaposes grief with hilarity and explores the self-effacing/self-erasing impulse to scrub and cleanse oneself of one’s own colour.
