Still Life

The Shaw Festival is proud to present Noel Coward’s Still Life, directed by Dennis Garnhum. As trains roar through the little station and shake the Banbury buns in the refreshment room, Laura gets a piece of grit in her eye and meets Alec, a doctor, who is also waiting for a train. They meet again by chance and then by appointment and always we see them, as their love deepens, against a background of milky cups of tea, bars of chocolate, and tables covered with crumbs.
