In 1970s Toronto, a budding drag queen befriends a schizophrenic woman seeking refuge from a mental hospital. Based on the 1977 cult classic film starring Craig Russell, playwright Brad Fraser (pictured left) and composer Joey Miller have created a hilarious, touching musical about courage, commitment and drag. It’s retro. It’s raunchy. It’s rated X.
