Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo

Show One is proud to present Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo on the tenth anniversary of their first sold-out run at The Elgin Theatre.

Thirty years ago, in a Manhattan loft, a group of guys squeezed into pointe shoes and tutus and performed spoofs of their favourite ballets. Like Toronto’s own Drowsy Chaperone, this private joke was so successful it became a professional ballet company. Today, The Trocks have an international following, and their parodies of classical ballet and modern dance are lauded as significant contributions to the ballet world.
